Network Chimp is proud to announce the release of Concord, a Consent Management Platform (CMP) for Cloudflare. Cloudflare users can now enjoy GDPR user consent compliance in a few clicks with no downtime and no development time by installing our app from Cloudflare's app store.
Built on Workers
Concord is built on the Workers platform that introduces a new class of software running in data centers across the world within milliseconds of your device. Every website on the Cloudflare network can install Workers-powered software because Workers run independently from your internal infrastructure. Wordpress, Laravel, GatsbyJS, and Shopify sites, along with the rest of Cloudflare's millions of internet properties are all compatible with Workers-powered software executing on a network made famous for its stability. Concord is built on a Workers platform that makes it fast, reliable, and universally compatible with Cloudflare.
Who are we?
Our Network Chimp team develops apps that are installed on thousands of Cloudflare websites around the world. Edgy is a maintenance page on steroids, designed for teams that need to bring a small part of their service down while keeping the rest online. Fortify adds custom HTTP headers to incoming and outgoing traffic. Quick is a swiss army knife that features password-protection, static pages, remote pages, and more. A full list of our apps is available here.
What is Concord?
Concord is a powerful, easy-to-use CMP for Cloudflare websites. Today, we're releasing User Consent, the first product the Concord suite, a GDPR user consent management solution designed with two primary goals in mind:
- Ease of use
GDPR compliance is mandatory for anyone doing business in Europe and carries harsh penalties for non-compliance. You may have a team of developers to keep your websites compliant, but Concord is designed to be easy enough to configure without a CS degree. It installs in a few clicks. No complicated server integrations with your CMS and backend infrastructure are required.
- Compliance confidence
A recent study found that only 11.8% of the top 10,000 UK websites that employ popular commercial GDPR user consent solutions were meeting the minimum standards. We built Concord in cooperation with a group of regulatory experts who provide guidance on new features that ensure Concord is offering our users peace of mind in a rapidly evolving compliance landscape.
Concord will continue to evolve into a full consent management solution suite — CCPA compliance, policy generators, monitoring, and many other tools are coming soon. Stay in touch with us on Twitter.
