The GDPR is designed to safeguard user privacy. Users should not be tracked before providing active consent to be identified.
Consent should be given by a clear affirmative act establishing a freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication — GDPR Recitals
Tracker is any script that could potentially identify your users before obtaining consent. Many services that provide marketing, analytics, social media, and performance optimization rely on Tracker scripts that do not comply with GDPR requirements. A few examples of popular trackers are Facebook, Google Analytics, Twitter, and many others.
Prior blocking of trackers
GDPR user consent regulations mandate that website owners with European must provide prior blocking of trackers before obtaining user consent. The following example describes prior blocking requirements.
A website doing business in Europe that loads a user-identify Facebook Like button must block the button from loading (resulting in the transmission of user-identifying information to Facebook) until obtaining consent.
Concord offers prior blocking by physically removing
Trackers from your website. Once configured, your website's source code will be
Tracker-free before consent is obtained.
Privacy Preference Center

?privacy-preference-center to any page on your website.
The next section explains how to personalize your Privacy Preference Center.
Trackers can be optionally tagged with a
Tracker Category. Tagged trackers are added to your Privacy Preference Center under the tagged category.
Assign a value of None to exclude a Tracker from your Privacy Preference Center.
Technical cookies and some statistical cookies are exempt from prior blocking requirements. Technical cookies are strictly necessary for the provision of the service. These include preference cookies, session cookies, load balancing, statistical cookies managed directly by you (not third-parties), providing that the data is not used for profiling, and anonymized statistical third-party cookies.
These types of cookies fall into the following two categories: Session and Preferences
Assign Session or Preferences to a Tracker to include it in your Privacy Preference Center and exclude it from the prior blocking mechanism.
